To be able to create the red cow portal leading to the Secret Cow Level your character must first complete the “Eve of Destruction” quest (the final quest in Act V) on the same difficulty setting. Try to run in as far as you can and open up an escape Town Portal for backup. One time per Difficulty Level. Warning: if you lead the Cows around the Red Portal and die, you may not be able to fight your way back inside. You must have already killed Baal in the same Difficulty Level. You must Transmute in the Act I Rogue Encampment.
